Amy Otto
Amy Otto is an Urban Outreach Minister, working for the Brooks Avenue Church of Christ, serving those marginalized in Raleigh, North Carolina. She is also the Director of Transitional Programs for Interfaith Prison Ministry for Women, coordinating the organization's efforts to serve women of the North Carolina Correction Institute for Women. Amy began her career as legal assistant before spending the greater part of 15 years homeschooling two children. During the homeschooling years she was very active in her local Church, community and spent a short stint working for the Virginia SIDS Alliance. When her children were nearing college age, Amy went back to school completing a Bachelor's Degree in Pastoral Counselling, attaining Temperament Counselling certification and becoming a Certified Christian Life Coach. For the past five years she has also been providing support for Ciudad de Angeles, a christian home in Mexico, by handling administrative duties, managing their CRM, leading mission trips, and sponsoring a child. Amy currently serves on the boards of two non-profits; the National Urban Ministry Association and A Place At The Table (here in Raleigh).
Alfred Donald
Alfred Donald is originally from Humboldt, TN and graduated from Freed-Hardeman University in 1978. He served as associate minister of the Greenbriar Church of Christ in Atlanta from 1981-86. He moved back to Humboldt to preach at his home church in 1986-89.
In 1992 Alfred was hired to work with Atlanta Inner City Ministry. He and his wife, Sharalyn, served as foster parents with Georgia Agape for several years. In addition to his responsibilities with Atlanta Inner City Ministry (AIM), he has served as the minister of the Lakewood Church of Christ since it’s beginning in 1993. His greatest passions in ministry are sharing the gospel one on one and working with youths.
Alfred and Sharalyn have four children: Rachel Duncan of Russellville, Arkansas, Jonathan of Charleston, SC, Benjamin of Atlanta, and Adjani, who is a sophomore at Savannah State. His hobbies are motorcycle riding, fishing and camping.
Bobby Green, Jr.
I'm Bobby L. Green, Jr. I'm from Orlando, Fl. I'm married with 3 kids. I preach for a great church in Charleston, SC. I have been to a few schools. And I can't wait to get to Heaven.
Bobby, originally from Orlando, FL, leads the Charleston Metro family as our senior minister bringing over 15 years of experience with congregations in Florida, Tennessee, and South Carolina. His educational achievements include a BA and a Masters of Divinity both in Biblical Studies. Bobby, his wife Antoinette, and children came to Charleston from Memphis where he was an instructor in bible for Harding Academy. Bobby teaches and encourages the Metro family to “keep the main thing the main thing; to love God, to love people, and to love ourselves”.
The Charleston Metro church of Christ is led by its Preacher, Bobby L. Green, Jr. Together, we work towards the vision of the church to create a community of Christians where we keep the main thing; to love God, to love people, and to love ourselves.
Beverly Harbin
Beverly Harbin is currently Special events coordinator for Raleigh Community Church of Christ. Jim and I have been married for 41 years and have four children. I became involved in ministry in 1980 initially as a Youth director and through the years I have served in prison, children, senior, singles, ladies and marriage ministries. All preparing me for my greatest challenge planting the Raleigh Community Church of Christ in 1997. My greatest passion and the work the father has placed with in my hands is to encourage and strengthen marriages and to encourage the youth of our movement. Jim and I have led an annual marriage retreat for 16 years and have seen God’s power in saving marriages.
Jim Harbin, Jr.
Jim Harbin is the President of the National Urban Ministry Association. (NUMA). NUMA partners with churches, organizations, and ministries to plant churches, serve the poor, and develop indigenous leaders and engage in Christian community development. Jim also serves as a Site Coordinator with Agape Child & Family Services where his team of 21 ministers in two communities and 6 schools. Jim and Beverly Harbin planted the Raleigh Community Church of Christ in 1997 where he continues to preach and lead. Jim has a B.S. from the University of Memphis, MA from Harding Graduate School of Religion.
